We kindly request you to please reboot your system in safe mode using the article http://avgclick.me/rebootintosafemode and run AVG remover tool to completely remove traces of AVG and try to reinstall AVG Antivirus free using the article http://avgclick.me/InstallFree .
Please click this link http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and "Run" the AVG Remover tool.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart, manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.

I have been trying to install (to re-install to be more precise) AVG 2016 free (I also tried to install full) edition a few times over the last few months, but everything's in vain, and I keep getting the same problem. I've searched and searched for answers but to no avail, and therefore starting this thread.
While trying to install AVG, I get the following message "Unexpected error ! Sorry, we've run into a problem during installation (Error code: 0xE001003D) What's wrong and how can I fix the problem? I also tried to install some other anti viruses, but it keeps saying that another antivirus (AVG) is installed and needs to be removed, but I removed everything, ran a few times the AVG remover, cleaned the register, but still I get the same problem :0(
