Hi,
I just change my laptop and i bought AVG full version.
I'm trying to install, but i received the following error : 0xE0010601.
I tried to do all the action suggested in the post (remove, clear…etc…) but nothing … product did not install correcly.
I'm start to be just a little disappointed… i have a new laptop but i'm not protected…
Staps:
1. Uninstal avg, and all addons
2. Use http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to chack if all is uninstaled
3 Use https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe
4. Instal full version (for AVG Antivirus Free, currently Antivirus_Free_x64_1818.exe at 285 MB) - log in
These steps works for me for AVG Internet Unlimited. Now i have 4 laptops in my network every time doing these staps from 1 to 4.

Sorry to hear that the installation got failed at each instance. Have you tried the offline installation to resolve this error code? Let us know the exact name of AVG product which you would like to install, is that paid or trial or free version?
Totally fed up with trying to install avg for the past 4 evenings
