We know it will be strange when you receiving these kinds of fake pop-ups and it cannot be detected by AVG.
These pop-ups could be because of some unwanted applications installed in your computer.
I request you to check in control panel if any unfamiliar or unwanted programs installed.
I also request you to check whether any weird extension is there in your browser.

My husband was looking for information about red bell cows and went to www.landreport.com for a story about a ranch that raises red bell cows. A fake "blue screen of death" came up, along with a gray-box warning and an audio warning to call 1-877-228-8183 immediately. He had to hit the escape key over and over to get the window to close. He ran a scan with AVG and found no viruses, no threats. We are seeing a lot of sites selling programs to locate and delete this virus, but nothing on the AVG site. Anyone else have experience with this?
