One possible problem can not use 1-click maintenance or browser cleanup in AVG PC TuneUp. Well if you are currently using an old version of AVG PC TuneUp, you can try these steps

Currently the latest version of AVG PC TuneUp. is 15.0.1001. 393, - Cleaning definitions version 3
In the new version the problem is fixed. Please update to date
