2 months left on IS licence - do I lose that time if I add a new 2 year licence code now?

I have over 2 months remaining on my AVG Internet Security (2 Years - 10 devices) licence.

I've already bought a new licence (another 2 year - 10 devices one) but wondering what will happen if I enter it now, rather than waiting until the current one expires.

If I add the new 2 year licence code now, will I lose the remaining 2 months left on the current one, or will it add 2 years onto that, so I end up with 2 years & 2 months left?
