2nd monitor not recognized by laptop

I updated to to the AVG Paid protection and now my external monitor is not being recognized by my laptop.  What do I need to do to fix this?  It must be something that AVG is blocking.

We're sorry to hear this.
Try restoring the changes done by AVG TuneUp and check whether it resolves the issue.

1, Open AVG TuneUp.
2, Click the Rescue Center icon on the right side of the AVG TuneUp dashboard.
3, Click Undo to all the action.
4, The selected action is now reversed.

Restart your PC and check for the issue.
