32 bit or 64 bit

GLEN, All drivers and processes that scans your computer are 64 bit x64 files, only UI and some non essential parts are 32 bit x86 files.

I downloaded AVG antivirus and PC TUNEUP on my new laptop.  My old one was a 32 bit.  My new one operates on 64 bit. 
When I looked in the TASK MANAGER at random to see what apps were running, I noticed in the file description on all my AVG services running that they specified 32 bit. 
Ummmm, this is a 64 bit platform.  What gives? 
Am I running the right one?
