A few days ago I removed Norton and installed free AVG. Now my computer is operating much much slower. What should I do?

Loren, For Norton total removal did you download & run the Symantec [NAV] uninstall utility (https://support.norton.com/sp/en/uk/home/current/solutions/kb20080710133834EN_EndUserProfile_en_us)?.
