You are not alone in this. I purchased AVG ULTIMATE on a promotion for ZAR125.00 on 10 July 2020 as my subscriptions would expire on 31 July 2020. I was the first time that I had purchased the AVG ULTIMATE package as it had all inclusive the products that I wished to renew.
On 31 July 2020, twenty days after my purchase, I was debited for AVG ULTIMATE in the amount of ZAR999.00. I asked to refund the latter transaction on 5 August 2020, however it never happened. I queried this again and again, however, AVG advises me that the 30 day period has passed and that they will not refund me. I've mailed the "AVG TEAM" with a step by step occurance as I acquired the products, however they say that I did not mention AVG ULTIMATE in my request and that I referred to the products by name individually and therefore will not be refunded. I am yet to receive a response to my mail.
