a privacy matters has shown up on my screen and wont go away. how do i get rid of it?

sorry to hear that. It is also good to reinstall your AVG program once but even after reinstalling if you get the same popup please follow the instructions give by "Sreedevi" on this post and do let us know once you have done that. Thank you.
I have this problem as well (Your privacy matters - popup won't go away) on two PC's, one running Win7 and the other running Win10. Think a repair/reinstall of AVG internet security solves the problem - keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't reappear!
