Please Open AVG Internet Security > Next to run smart scan you will see virus definitions > Click on the small arrow like circle and check the issue.

The 3 dots that according to the FAQs are supposed to appear next to the "Run Smart Scan" are not there.
How do I set up scheduled scans given that?
