Hi Kimberley,
We will help you in this.
Could you share us the screenshot of the pop up?
You can refer this article for the steps to capture the screenshot : https://bit.ly/30n9Pyu
Also make sure the 'See Details' is clicked.
The dialog box says "We've safely aborted connection webmail.centurlink.net .t because it was infected with URL:Phishing". I have scanned my PC several times and no other threats appear.
How is this fixed? Please address the issue so that I may continue my work.
Thank you.
Not sure WHY my responses are not posting here . . .
Just got 2 message of the same type, URL Phishing from 2 different URL's refereing moviesanywhere.com, not sure what is going on with AVG . . .

Hi Gerald,
Thank you for writing to us with the screenshot.
AVG has detected the moviesanywhere website as phishing and also the threat has been secured.
To remove this pop up, I request you to reset your Chrome Browser to default settings.

Not sure why my other "answer" did not show up, but . . .
SO after I posted I noticed that AVG had a yellow ! SO I opened it back up and there was a CRITICAL update that needed to be installed. Not sure why it did not automatically update as I have auto updates enabled. So Kimberley I would check your updates. After I updated and rebooted, I was able to get to moviesanywhere.com without the AVG error. Good luck, hope this helps.
