I was on the Tagged.com quiz site when couple of avg boxes appeared (sorry i didn't take the screen shots) that mentioned that "malware attacked avg aborted this that site connection."
After 2 3 times avg just aborted the whole internet connection. I appreciate it but at the end simple google.com.my was also not opening even i closed down the google chrome and opened back it again.
I tried to find may be there is an option in avg internet security that mention a detail about malware and website address that being blocked like when virus detected there is a virus vault that give us info related to captured file but what i found was a traffic log which is coded in numbers that normal person cant understand (only time date, IP address and port)
To resume the connection when i failed to find any thing in avg internet security i just restarted the router and pc… manually no option i found.
May be you guys give me a guide to understand these fucking lines(blocked traffic log)
1- Fri 19/Apr/2019 5:20:19 PM fe80::eb6:d2ff:fedf:1ed9 56896 ff02::c 1900 UDP In C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe Default rule
2- Fri 19/Apr/2019 5:13:47 PM 104.103.70.10 80 0.0.0.0 49620 TCP Out C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe Default rule
first one ip6 address udp port direction was in
second one ip4 address tcp port direction was out
these things not mentioning any malware info and website address which was blocked so that i can manually allow those websites that are not dangerous like google.com.my.
Or may be i am looking a wrong place.
thanks
We appreciate your efforts in sharing us the screenshots, Wari.
Upon checking them, we see that the 1st screenshot shows that a website is being blocked & the connection has been aborted.
The 2nd screenshot shows the traffic logs of the applications on your computer that access internet.
As the connection has been aborted, the logs for the website will not be available on the page in which you're looking.
In this regard, we can either add the website to exclusion (if you believe that it is a legitimat website). (Open AVG - Menu - Settings - General - Exclusion)
Also, we see that you've Business producs in your account. Please let us know if you're using a Business or consumer product on your computer.
Hi Wari,
We're glad to clarify this for you. A URL, also known as a Uniform Resource Locator, is used to provide humans with an easy to remember website name that can be quickly entered into a web browser.
When you type in a URL , the ISP looks up the domain name, finds the matching IP address and sends it back. Hence, the website name is listed in the logs.
However, as we're uncertain about the exact AVG program that use, we're not in a position to help you with the appropriate suggestions.
Would you be so kind to let us know the AVG program's name in which you're looking for the logs?
