Abrakmbe.exe - Rootkit: hidden process

AVG tells me I have a rootkit: hidden process on an essential file to run an Auskey. On top of this, it shows 1000 unsecured threats for the one file. I have 'resolved' and 'healed' the file, which I believe just deletes it, as when I go to try and access the program, I am told it is uninstalled.

So have done a re-install of the program and sure enough another 1000 unsecured threates on the same file.

I can't live life without this file working, and it is ridulous that it should continue to happen after a clean install. Can I send the file for review? Can I ignore the file? how do i ignore the file? Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Hello N W,

If the "abrakmbe.exe" application is a trusted one, you can add it to AVG's exception as mentioned (here).
However, provide the application details for analysis through this link: https://secure.avg.com/submit-sample .
Thank you.

How do I know if it is trusted and not compromised, I mean that is why we rely on AVG. I will follow the instructions to submit a sample

If you are not sure if that file is a trusted one or not, you can upload the file in Virus Total- VirusTotal page and check if it is valid file or not.
