Every few days the Access Control List in my cable modem/router turns on and several devices on my home network are listed as blocked devices. I log into my Netgear C3000-100NAS turn off ACL and it's good until it turns back on in a few days.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I access via a browser
I appreciate your efforts so far, Eric.
Did you perform a full computer scan using AVG? If not, please refer the article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Antivirus-PC-virus-scan) for the instructions. AVG Antivirus provides a range of scans to protect your PC from viruses and malware and not your router. If everything is fine after a full scan, we request you to contact your router support again. They will be able to resolve this for you.
Thank you.
Thank you for the information.
AVG will scan your browser too.
However, try to reset the browser and check for the issue again.
Keep us posted.
Thank you for getting back, Eric.
May I know how do you access your router settings? Is it though an application or in a web browser?
If it is an application, please right click the installation folder of that application in C:\ and select 'Scan with AVG'.
Prior to posting for help I have updated rebooted and reset every device on the network multiple times.
network provider sais it's a virus
Hi Eric,
This doesn't seem to be an issue with AVG.
So, we request you to contact the network provider.
Thank you.
