Access to Facebook, Youtube and AVG log in

Hi,
Just before I received your last update I tried typing the full address eg. https:// etc and I managed to get into Youtube but not Facebook. Unchecking the Https scan box did not appear to do anything.
I have had no success with the log in issues on this computer but I was able to login to Myaccount through my wifes' laptop. I tried to renew my subscription and that failed.
I will be returning to Australia in under 3 weeks so I will renew from there.
i have also noticed that each time I start up this computer I get an update error message from AVG.and looking at the Program updateit shows current version 17.3.3011 release date 30.3.2017 but it shows a new version dated 3.5.2017 but i am unable to download it.
Maybe I would be best to reinstall AVG when I am back in Australia?
Regards
Andrew

Hello Andrew,
I request you to disable HTTPS scan (please open AVG > menu > settings > components > online shield > customized settings > uncheck the box HTTPS scan), check if the issue still persist, please let us know the issues ( blocking websites and AVG MyAccount login) does not happen on other devices connected in the same network. Also try to connect with a different network and check is the issue still persist. We look forward for your reply.
Best regards,
Alok.

I purchased AVG Ultimate in 2016, it has recently changed to this different format 2/3 days ago.

Hi,
I have run Clear tool twice and was only able to use the I nternet Security link once- it would not work a second time. I have just uploaded the trial version and am getting popups. The reason I ran it a second time was that the updates still were showing errors. I have not run updates as yet on this latest Internet Security.
I will be back in Australia next week so I hope this will allow me to login and renew my subscription.
Still I am unable to access Both Facebook and Youtube. One thing I have noticed is that before the address bar having - https://address , it shows a O with an i inside and does not show the closed lock and the Secure sign.

That has sorted the problem with the pc, now I will see if my android phone updates as it is showing "out of date".
Thank you, that was mymain concern.

Hi,
I have been reasonably happy with my Avg Ultimate but now i seem to have some problems.
To start with, my location is in China, this could also enhance the problems. I am unable to log in to My Account.because after pushing the log in key, I am instructed to check the box- there is no box to check-maybe this is a China problem!!
Until recently I have been able to access Facebook & Youtube but now I am being stopped and one of the error messages attributed it to AVG. I am able to access them on other devices & computers. The latter problems have happened after the change in format of AVG.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello Andrew,
Thank you for the information. We would request you to login your AVG My Account in different browser and check whether it resolves the issue. Thank you.
