Access to my National - Lottery account

May I know your geographical location and the location you configured in AVG Secure VPN? Do you receive any error messages when you try to access the account?

When I subscribed to the AVG VPN, the app advised me that my location would be shown as Glasgow. I have not changed this. In addition, since VPN was commenced I also get messages from the BBC website that various video clips cannot be shown as they are not available in my area?
When I log on to my National Lottery account it is blocked as it locates my ISP server to be outside of the UK. An error message states this can be caused by the VPN and that I should contact my ISP provider to have this changed? My ISP provider is Virgin Media but this problem did not commence until I installed the AVG VPN programme so I doubt they wiould be able to help. How to fix this problem? I have added a number of exceptions to the VPN app including the BBC and National Lottery amongst others, but it has not helped. It seems to be related to to the percieved location of the server which should be changed or re-registered.

This is the expected behavior as most of the banking and streaming websites will have their own restriction policy which will not allow access when a VPN application is used.

However, you can try selecting the following locations Gotham, Miami, New York, Seattle, Wonderland in AVG Secure VPN and check whether you are able to access the streaming or banking sites.

We will check with it. We recommend you to choose other 2 locations of UK in AVG Secure VPN and check if that helps. 
Also, try to turn off AVG Secure VPN and access those sites.

Hi Santosh,
Both the BBC video clips and the National Lottery website will not run on a server which is based outside of the UK. Only persons within the UK can receive these videos or participate in the Lottery draws. If the VPN cannot be re-registered to a UK server then I will need to cancel my subscription. Please advise further as the suggested server sites are all at overseas locations so would not be acceptable.

Items 2 & 3 refers to the need for the ISP server to be based in the UK which it is. The AVG VPN has changed something to make it appear that my server is not in the UK.
Item 4 indicates that this issue could also be caused by the use of a Virtual Private  Network. So can this be sorted from your side or not?
