I am trying to scan my computer in order to check for viruses and my computer keeps restarting because of a problem. It says "open system preferences" but there is no button to click the lock in the lower left corner in order to give access to the files. The other day I tried to do it when the lock was on the screen but I didn't know my password to unlock it. Please help me.
