This is known bug and AVG Cleaner for Mac will not connect to ZEN (Zen is already discontinued). You can use the Cleaner app without signing in, the features are same irrespective of logging in. Our developers are working on new version of Cleanup for Mac.
I just wanted to ask i am just reading this post and now it about a year later and it is still a problem. Will it get fixed soon?
I have AVG Secure VPN and AVG AntiVirus for MAC. However, I am having trouble activating AVG Cleaner for Mac. The Activation sequence will not accept my password. The password is the same for all other AVG products I have and use. Why won't the AVG Cleaner setup accept my password?

Let me explain this for you.
Earlier, we had issues in activating the product and is fixed now. AVG Cleaner available as a free version will be activated automatically during its installation. It is not required to activate it manually.
We have released a paid version named AVG TuneUp premium for Mac and it can be activated using the license code.
