Hello Joshua.
I apologize for the inconvenience. To fix the issue we need to remove the older version of AVG PC TuneUp and installed the correct one. Please go to the control panel - program list and uninstall AVG PC TuneUp. After uninstall, please refer this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Performance to install and activate AVG TuneUp Unlimited.
So I unistalled the program on my computer, opened the link you sent me, and clicked to install the software that the link said to in the first step. When it finished downloading, there was no option to "Run as administrator" when I right-clicked like the article said. In fact, an alert popped up on my computer and said this file could be harmful to my computer. So I didn't open it. I am extremely frustrated now, and am going to file a complaint and ask for a refund if someone can't help me download what I paid for.
Hello,
I recently renewed a 1 year subscription to AVG Tuneup Unlimited, but I cannot figure out how to activate it. The email sent with my invoice told me to open the product on my desktop. However, when I open AVG on my desktop, the only option given is to "Renew Now" because my protection has expired, so I can't open an AVG product on my desktop. I have tried several ways to activate it, but my desktop icon only gives me the option of renewing my subscription…which I have already purchased. Can someone please help me get this installed on my computer? I am very frustrated.
