Activation after trial ended

These products does not require a license number for activation, as it is activated using your AVG My Account that was created during your purchase.

I would suggest you to uninstall AVG currently installed AVG programs completely and re install AVG Ultimate. Click on this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG for instructions on how to uninstall AVG.

Then follow the steps in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Ultimate to download and install AVG Ultimate.
Howdy.  I hadn't booted up my Windows partition in some time.  When I had, I was notified the trial ended and needed to purchase.  I purchased.  I was told to go into the options menu but there is no options menu.  Starting the app keeps saying the trial is ended and I need to purchase.  

Looking online I see where the menu button is.  But I'm on the expiration screen that allows me to buy or continue trial, with no option to enter anything else.  Why is there no menu option or any option to put in my information to show I had purchased?
Install Secure VPN by following these steps:

Double-click the AVG icon on your desktop to open AVG Internet Security.
Then click on 'Home' icon at the top left hand corner of AVG Internet Security to open management console (formerly known as AVG Zen).
Click the Secure VPN tile to install the program.
Click Try it free to start 30-day trial. If you already bought a subscription for AVG Secure VPN and you are logged to your AVG MyAccount in AVG management console, your license is detected at this point.
Click Yes to confirm installation. Restart your PC, if asked.
Click the OFF slider so that it changes to ON. Secure VPN drivers are installed.
