I received an activation code from the customer chat as I had a subscription registered with the incorrect email adress. Every time I try to type in the code it states the AVG servers are down. How do I add the subscription I would like to cancel?

I have attached the screenshot.
I'm not sure if it has something to do with the issue had. I had a subscription for the AVG Internet Security with an incorrect email die to an error in the email address that I made. I tried to use the online chat service but was cut off before I could state that I was having with the activation code. The individual I spoke to transferred the license and said all I would need to do would be to enter the activation code.
