Activation Server Issue?

I was recently bought an AVG activation code. When attempting to activate the code on my account (which I previously had AVG through), I am finding that I get through everything before getting an error that AVG "servers are not responding." After waiting a few minutes multiple times, I am wondering if this is truly a server concern or something else, especially where I am able to use all other AVG services, including this website, shop, and AVG on my phone. 

Please advise on server status and if there is another concern. Thank you

    3. Try a different browser.
    4. Clear data cache.
    5. Ensure AVG software is up to date.
    6. Contact AVG support.
    7. Double-check activation code.
    8. Restart your computer.
    9. Review proxy settings.
    10. Wait and try activation later.
