Hello Brian,
Please be informed that after AVG Internet Security recent update, we do not recommend our customer to keep two Antiviruses program at the same time. So if you have installed any other security program then please remove that for better protection.

Recently I have been asked several times if I want to turn on active protection or remain on Passive. Since I have already turned this on and have never turned it off I wonder if there is a problem that I need to be aware of
