Also when filling out your details choose Yes for the Question "Are you currently using any paid/trial AVG products?" even though you may be using the Free version and fill out necessary details and click on Email option. The AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.

Hello, I have recently purchased AVG Ultimate (had problems installing that AVG support helped put right by removing all old installation files).
I want to now add an Android device on which I have an old version of AVG. The question is should I try to remove/uninstall the old version of AVG before attempting to install my new AVG Ultimate version to the device? Also how to do this please?

We suggest you to uninstall the older version of AVG from your device and install the latest version from your AVG MyAccount. Please sign in to your AVG MyAccount from the android device to download the latest version. The latest version will get downloaded from the Google Play store and you can activate the product using your AVG MyAccount credentials. (1/2)
