I understand your concern. Please be informed that the activation using the invitation code will no longer work with the latest version of AVG in android devices.
Please download AVG Antivirus from Google PlayStore on Android device, install it and then enter AVG my account by following below steps:
1. Device Menu -> Settings -> Apps/Application Manager -> AVG -> Uninstall.
2. Restart your device once.
3. Open Google play store app on your device.
4. Search for AVG AntiVirus.
5. Locate and install the free version of the app.
6. Now open the installed app.
7. Tap on drawer (3 lines) on top-left of the app.
8. Select AVG Account.
9. Enter your My Account email address and password.
The paid app should get installed automatically.
I have subscription for all devices which works fine on all pc's but when I add my samsung phone it will only download the "Free" version and ask for money to upgrade to pro. There is no place to enter the invite code that I emailed from my account in the menu for the "Free" AVG version that I can find so I cannot complete adding the phone to my account. Please advise.
