Thank you for trying it out, Debbie. I believe it is not an issue with AVG but with IE.
Have AVG Internet Security - the paid subscription. I have reset my IE, disabled add ons etc… I will try again if necessary. I looked at the AVG scan reports, and don't see anythng that is indicative of problems with adobe etc…
Adobe reader and java updates will not install. everything was fine until the last avg update and IE update. I have disable firewall and AVG and it won't allow anything to download. It will function up to 99% complete and then say it can't complete or the IE error will pop up saying that IE has stopped responding. Usually it acts like installing and then won't function when it hits the execute file. I even copied the adobe execute file to a thumb drive from another computer and installed on my home computer. Then tried to execute and it also failed. I am at a loss. Oh - I also restored all of my internet settings (which is a royal pain) to factory / default and tried to run. I give up
