I may have spoken too soon!
Though I now have access to the isyncr program so all looked great, when I try to sync the app says it is retrieving playlists but seems stuck.
I just turned off advanced firewall and it worked immediately.
Starting to think I might just have to turn it off whenever I need to sync.
I dont do that often and, though not ideal, it's not too much of a hassle really.,

I have to keep disabling advanced firewall to allow isyncr program to sync and when i set to allow isyncr as an ongoing exception it does not work. I browse to select isyncr application. Maybe i need to not select the app icon on my pc but a different file type within the folder? Any suggestions how to make work appreciated.

hi. un and then reinstalled. file and printer sharing now stays enabled. However, I can only sync isyncr app if i turn off the enhanced firewall. cheers. G

hi. seems repaired successfully. worse now as isyncr app on phone now fails to see isyncr desktop at all. before repair it recognised isyncr desktop but wouldn't sync.
