We are sorry to hear about the threat pop up issue and I understand that, you are unable to find the option to disable the threat pop up. Let us try to find the root cause of the threat pop up issue and please make sure that your AVG Antivirus free or Internet Security application is updated to latest version. To do that follow the below article :

After updating the application, please check, if the issue persists with threat pop up. Could you, please let us know are, you receiving these pop up randomly or in a specific website ? May I know from when did, you started to face this issue ? Additionally, would you be so kind as to share us a few screenshots of the threat pop-ups you're referring to? Note: Kindly click on "See Details" on the threat pop-up and then share us the screenshot. I ONLY WANT TO GO TO ADVANCED SETTINGS AND UNCHECK ADVISOR NOTIFICATION. THIS IS A PAID FOR PRODUCT THAT IS ONLY HERE TO ENHANCE MY USER ENJOYMENT - NOT RUIN IT. I HAVE OPENED AVG BUT NEAR THE TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER THERE IS NO LISTING FOR "ADVANCED SETTINGS" WHERE I CAN UNCHECK A CHECKBOX FOR AVG ADVISOR NOTIFICATIONS. I DO NOT WISH TO BE NOTIFIED EVERYTIME AVG DOES THEIR JOB. THREAT SECURED ISN'T THAT WHAT AVG IS PAID TO DO. .
