After a thunderstorm my avg security is putting up a firewall

it was fine then  big thunderstorm, no internet access, have done all the usual checked the SFR  box and it still shows no IP recognition ,
I noticed SFR refuses to agree its a safe line and even after turning off the fire wall will not let the connection through GGGRRR
