After AVG update my residence shared network log in page opens INSIDE AVG dashboard

Hello Chris,
We really appreciate your valuable efforts which you have taken to fix it. Since you have mentioned that , you are unable to connect to the Internet ,We would request you to follow the below steps to reinstall your AVG network filter to get issue fixed.
-Disable AVG Self Protection.
- Go to Control Panel -> Network Connections -> right click on the network area which is active -> "Properties"
- If there is "AVG Network filter driver" uninstall it and restart the computer twice
- AVG Firewall initializes auto-repair function so "AVG Network filter driver" should be automatically installed (therefore two restarts are needed)
Thank you.

Hi

Last week after an AVG FREE update I was unable to connect to the shared network for my condo / residence. After some searching I found that the log in page was opening INSIDE the AVG dashboard. Whilst I found I could eventually log in I have since experienced continuing 'network connection' problems.

I have tried a whole range of possible solutions but got nowhere. I have disabled firewall and AVG but the 'network connection' problems persisted. I removed AVG and reinstalled but no joy. I have followed all the other 'network adapter' solutions that appear on the internet forums (too many to list here) - but nothing seems to work.

This seems to be the only way of alerting AVG. Does anyone have any ideas ?
