After installation of avg2015 my computer shuts down when opening chrome

It is AVG Internet Security.  I just bought it at the end of last month but upgraded from 2013 last night.  Now I'm having the problems.  I use Windows 7

After installing AVG 2015 my computer will shut down consistently when opening the google chrome browser.  I was able to scan my computer and nothing showed up as a virus.  Do I need to go back to 2013?  Everything seemed to work fine with my older version.
