Added the VPN software as an exception, but software still will not launch unless I temporarily disable AVG.
If I temperarily disable AVG my software works properly. This has just come about with the latest update. Worked fine before that. I'm on 2015 build 6081.

Lance, I would request you to disable individual components of AVG as described in this article http://avgread.me/1Hemdjc and check which component is actually blocking the application. Thank you.
Thank you for trying it out. Did you try adding the software to AVG's exception list after the re installation?
I disabled each one, one-by-one trying to launch VPN software each time. VPN Software would not launch on any attempt. I then disabled AVG Free 2015 and my VPN software launched no prblem.
Lance, thank you for trying it out and it is a strange. I would request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install.
