After purchasing & signing in I have been told I have no valid subscription on my android phone

After purchasing avg & downloading it on my laptop I am now having difficulty getting my android phone activated with either email, or activation code. According to my phone it has not been purchased yet & wants me to start a trial period. Please get back to me with some advice. I am not going to waste any more time with this.
