Airplane mode won’t turn off

It was. Firefox update. I left it overnight and when I looked it said download failed. After much time trying other solutions I discovered that the airplane mode wouldn't turn off. Any suggestions?

Since a failed update attempt, I cannot turn off airplane mode therefore I cannot connect to the internet
