Alarm Clock app - installing new ringtone?

Hello Kat,

I understand that you want to install a ringtone from the previous version, but currently the option is not possible in the new version. You have use the existing default ringtones installed on the Alarm Clock or use the MP3 files.

Hi All,

I just got a new phone, a Samsung Galaxy S7, and installed the Alarm Clock app. However, none of the ringtones are jarring enough to wake me up, so I wanted to install one from a previous version. Unfortunately, I just can't find where to put it. Does anyone here know where I need to be looking please?

I understand your concern, Kat. I will make sure to inform this to the concerned team and make sure to update the same in future AVG updates.

Thank you for your reply. I am very sorry to hear that though. I've been using the Alarm Clock app for a number of years now and was really looking forward to trying the new features. Unfortunately, I'm afraid without a decently alarm-y sounding ringtone, I won't be able to use it now, as I've been finding that the only available ringtones just don't wake me up. Maybe this could be considered with the next release and i might come back then.
