Alarm Clock Xtreme - location of music files on Android?

Simple question (I think). (I hope.)

When using Alarm Clock Xtreme, and I want to set MUSIC as my "ringtone," I click on "Music on my device."

But I only see ONE song listed–some crappy Honor 8X stock song.

I do have 10-11 songs on my Android phone, but they do have .wma extensions.

Sooooo … do I need differently formatted songs for them to appear, or do I need to have music files in a particular location on my phone!!! I'm confused.

Thanks!!!
