i keep getting constant popup alerts for this url. has just started in last few days and can happen on any website url.

any ideas why or how i can stop this alert ?

From your description, it possibly seems to be a false positive.
Initially, we'd suggest you to ensure that the AVG program has the latest patches applied to it.
Open AVG program - click on refresh icon beside virus definitions, at bottom left corner - Restart computer after successful update & check.
Please help us with a screenshot of the threat popup to check and help you further.
