I don’t understand why my purchased antivirus is telling me it’s turned off? I paid for it to just work and not be babysat. Is this more AVG marketing click bait?
I’m not very familiar with the marketing names for all the options i could purchase, so these messages add to the frustration of using the product, especially when i run into AVG marketing click bait. Why would the product want me to click to turn it on when it was working and should still be working?

Bottom line, i’m confused how to interpret and act on the message.

I resolved the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the Internet Security product. Various repair attempts did nothing. Called and the phone navigation tree wasn’t helping beyond suggesting resetting/repairing the application. Repair did nothing but big hammer uninstall/reinstall did it. All seems good now. AVG was off in the weeds.
