Already have AVG Security, so why keep asking me to 'come back?'

I do scan it from the main interface, always do. That's from clicking on the AVG icon on my Desk Top which brings the interface up. It always used to update it before, so why not now?  I didn't know my AVG Tune-up wasn't activated. I'm sure it said I didn't have to do anything when I paid for it. I'll have to look at the email.

Hello Jacqueline.
Thank you for reaching us here. Please try to keep the whole conversation in one thread to speed up resolution.

Please note that the scan for sensitive documents is renamed as 'Advanced issues scan' in the user interface. Regarding the performance issues scan, it will run along with virus scan when you do not have AVG TuneUp installed and activated on your PC. You have an active subscription for AVG TuneUp.
To make sure AVG TuneUp is installed and activated, I have sent an email containing instructions to get connected with our remote assistance team. Please contact them for further assistance.

Regarding your other query about AVG scan ran status not updating in the user interface, are you running the virus scan by clicking the 'Scan computer' button on home screen or do you run a special scan by going to into the scan settings?

Please note that the last scan run status updates only when you start a virus scan by clicking 'Scan computer' on main interface.

Seems like I must have asked this question before as it's in the drop-down box for the topic. After I did a scan, (it's a new type one now, it doesn't do Sensitive Documents like it used to) it goes on to tell me my computer is slow and needs AVG Security to get rid of things etc. As I've already got it, why isn't it fixing these things, and why can't it tell that I've got it?

We're glad to clarify this for you, Jackie. To make the process easier, we've suggested you to take advanatage of our free remote assistance by following the steps mentioned in the email that has been sent to you by our colleague.
