Hi David,
I'm really sorry to hear about your experience and I'm also passing your feedback to the concerned department.
Just to quickly sum up the situation… Currently you have 2x3 licenses for AVG Internet Security with different expiration dates. One of those was ordered by mistake. Now you'd like to merge these two separate licenses and have just one for 5 computers.
Please confirm that the summary is correct or please do correct me so I can arrange it for you.
Thanks
Hi David,
Your license has been merged, you should receive new license with instructions via email.
Thanks
Jan, yes your summary is correct. We need a link from which to download the software, and the appropriate serial number, I guess there are two, andf some minimal instructions. Thank you in advance

PS You know that sending mail from a no-reply box once again puts me in a position where I need to do something differently in order to use the product. Just create an account, put whatever limitations on it you wish and then SKIP the part where I go do things that make your lives simpler.
You know what'd be nice? It'd be nice if 21st century vendors would stop trying to cheat their customers and just resign them selves to doin their job. I own two - three computer licenses for Internet security. The reason I have two - three computer license is because AVG sent me an e-mail saying I needed to renew so I did. It turns out I didn't. One of my licenses runs til the end of this year and one runs to the end of next year.
I contacted AVG about this when I first discovered it and, after I spoke with the requisite Indians no refund was offered. So I blew it off and let go of it.
Now I'm trying to get help reloading those two original 3 machine licenses on 5 computers. I can find no one to help or call, the tape says go to the website and solve my own problem. If I'd wanted to solve my own problems I'd've become a software hack. When I pay someone to supply a product they either stand behind it or I find someone else who is less of a greedy capitalist and more of a representative of a firm they wouldn't want to see dragged across the internet as a useless, self-interest only provider.
So, one more time… who at AVG owns a phone and speaks English? You've got TWICE the money from me you should have and absolutely NO service. Is that the message you'd like me to share?
DMW customer for many years… up until this point.
