Hello Brian,
We will help you to clarify your request.
AVG Internet Security (Multi-device) can be installed on Windows, Android, Mac and iOS devices. This subscription can not be used on Linux operating system.
Also, you are using outdated android OS. AVG program is compatible from Google Android 5.0 (Lollipop, API 21) or later
You can check the system requirement in the following AVG article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=Install-Android-AVG-AntiVirus&retUrl=support_Android_AVG_Antivirus)
I have 10 AVG subscriptions to use on my Window 7 and Android 7.x platforms and they work fine. My Andriod 4.2 and Linux on the other hand which are basically Android platforms do NOT load and not compatible ?
Do I go back and Load Windows on may PC and what should I do about Android 4.2 as AVG advertise that they are compatible. I like my Linux PC but…??? What to do …maybe go get my money back and go with other Virus/malware protection that Andrios, Windows and Linux work as they advertise. hmmmmm
