Android AVG Anti Theft lockout

I have an Samsung android mobile phone with AVG anti virus installed. I woke up yesterday morning to find my phone was locked by AVG anti theft.  As I had not setup anti theft on the phone, it was prompting me for a password which I haven't set. There was a link that allowed me to reset the password - it sent an email to me with a link to reset the password - I set a 6 character password. I then went back to my phone which is now prompting me for a 4 digit PIN. Cant put a 6 character password into a 4 digit PIN request. On the phone screen there is a link to recover the PIN number. I click on this and it sends me and email with my 6 character password. 6 digit password does not work when being required to input 4 digit PIN. I cannot reset the PIN because I cant login to avgmobilation.com. I'm locked out of my phone - I NEED HELP.

We do have separate team working on mobile issue. Please click on the following link http://bit.ly/1EC8H4H select the product as 'paid' in the support form even if you are using free product and fill out your details, select as android then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your mobile and in description explain about your issue completely and finally click on Email option and submit your query. Our AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.

So this explains why AVG support are tight lipped about this issue. I've been around in circles trying to get support for thids problen for the last 2 days.

So now you want me to be patient while you people attempt to resolve an issue that has been ongoing for many days.Sorry but my phone is my work, and I need it working now. I will be going to the manufacturer to have my phone factory reset and AVG will be getting the bill for all my expenses and lost time.
