Hi,
Yesterday I received a malware warning saying I was potentially affected by a 'Potentially unwanted programme', but the app was 'Video', pre-installed on my Samsung Galaxy S5, and AVG Antivirus cannot remove it. When I click on more info it says adware Android/deng and Android/generic_pup have been detected as Adware. I've had the Antivirus App for some time and this is the first I've seen this. I see some people have had this explained as a false positive, but I really just want to ensure that's the case. Also, is there any way of stopping this alert if that is the case?
Many thanks!
Thanks very much for your quick response. I followed this method but as I'm using the free version of the app I assumed I needed to use the forums/community?
Many thanks,
Lauren
