Android Emulator

Hi Sarath,
Based on your trusted support, I have tried the software and it have already proven safe.
May I take this opportunity to thank
Dinesh Krishnan & you as well.
Wish you well.

Hi Wafik,

We're glad to help you with the info.
Each antivirus has a unique scan engine & the results may vary depending upon the algorithm, virus definitions, patterns.
Sometimes, this could be a false positive. Also, the Nox's official website is been reported as safe by all antivirus (Virus Total reports)
Usually, AVG blocks a file/website if it is found to be malicious. As it didn't find any threat, it is safe to use the emulator on your computer.
If you're still concerned, you can take advanatage of our free remote assistance. The concerned team will run an advanced threat detection tool on your computer to ensure this.
If you'd like to ensure, let us know. We'll send you an email including the steps to connect with our remote team.
Thank you for your understanding in advance!

Hi,
I'm planning to use an Android emulator named Nox for my Windows 10 laptop. So, I would like to know if the said emulator is safe or not.
My AVG reported it as safe, however the following 16 antivirus detected it when I uploaded it to VirusTotal:

  • SecureAge                        APEX Malicious
  • Cylance                             Unsafe
  • DrWeb                               Trojan.InstallCore.3643
  • eGambit                            Unsafe.AI_Score_68%
  • Emsisoft                            Application.InstallCore (A)
  • Endgame                           Malicious (high Confidence)
  • Malwarebytes                  PUP.Optional.InstallCore.Generic
  • McAfee                              Artemis!B3FD5BB42224
  • McAfee-GW-Edition        Artemis
  • Microsoft                          PUA:Win32/InstallCore
  • Panda                                 PUP/InstallCore
  • Qihoo-360                         HEUR/QVM20.1.757D.Malware.Gen
  • Rising                                 Packer.Win32.Obfuscator.n (CLASSIC)
  • Sophos AV                         InnoMod (PUA)
  • Symantec                          PUA.InstallCore
  • Webroot                            W32.Adware.Gen
The above detections pertain to the file nox_setup_v6.28_0965563718 attached below:

Which I’ve downloaded from the Nox official sitehttps://noxofficial.com/nox-for-pc/
Thanks.
