For the last couple days my AVG software has been popping up a window that claims:

We've safely aborted connection on fixdoctorsfirst.net because it was
infected with URL:Mal
More threats may be lurking!
SCAN MY PC

I then allow AVG to scan my computer with no findings of a problem and therefore no resolution. Usually the same window will popup.
I have updated the AVG software every day, but the Window still pops up claiming a problem.
What must I do to resolve this problem?

Pop-up occurs very randomly and even with browser closed.
Happily - Problem solved:
Uninstalled AVG
Installed Avast
Goodbye
