The frequency of pop ups can be controlled directly from the app or can be even turned off (please open AVG Protection > menu > settings > general > Pop ups > manage your pop ups).
Also, you can uncheck the box "show pop up offers for other AVG Products", this option is available only in AVG Internet Security > Menu > settings > general > Privacy.

i would be much more intrested in your software if it didn't present like add ware constantly asking me to update to some degree for multiple paid features. dont offer a free version if all it is add ware, it ingrates serious distaste to the brand name in my opinion. i loved this anti virus until i tried the most recent free and paid version and all it did was to a degree constantly add me for better ant-virus upgrades either releasea full version or staggered versions but dont reallese add ware in system enhanceing programs under the guise of full up to date programs short of key seperated features
