We have two laptops where a pop-up of the AVG Free 'You have basic protection' screen appears, with a grey bar through the middle and an 'x' at the right hand end. This started happening at virtually the same time on both machines.
The 'x' closes the bar, then I can close the window, but then it reappears regularly. I have removed AVG and reinstalled but the fault still exists. Any ideas if this is a bug, or malicious activity?
