Adrian, The latest AVG Free version is actually now 2015 (http://free.avg.com/ww-en/download-free-all-product). Update isn't automatic.

Is it necessary to update AVG Anti Virus Free to the latest version each year or does the software update itself to the latest version. i.e. Is the 2011 version up to date or not?
