The same happened to me,also 'Chrome Browser' was installed why ?

Mike, If you check thro' other postings it would appear that the AVG Development team are working on this issue.

Since the large program update:
Last computer scan: a few seconds ago
Virus definition: a few seconds ago
Neither of these statements is true. Repair fails to make the software tell the truth!
It would seem that another update is required.
